Book Review: TECH STRESS How Technology Is Hijacking Our Lives, Strategies for Coping, and Pragmatic Ergonomics

The Covid 19 pandemic has caused people to stay home, work from home, socialize from home, shop groceries, and food from home, all through their computer screens. The equipment, chairs, tables, computer keyboards, and so on at home are not necessarily optimized for such long hours of usage. In addition, the stress related to working from home with children, without any social activities, and sometimes fear of losing jobs, adds tremendous stress and anxiety to people that leads to increased work-related injuries.

"TECH STRESS" is excellent reading for all people who are in this situation. It provides readers ample information on how to deal with it and informs them about the ergonomics aspects of their working conditions and particularly the role of stress.  "TECH STRESS" is written in a very easy and accessible language and is understandable to all readers. It includes plenty of illustrations, examples, and advice that will undoubtedly help people improve and manage their working conditions.

If you are working from home, I recommend reading “TECH STRESS" and recommending it to people around you who also help to improve their working conditions.
